A high-level training program dedicated to the managers of the future project organization consisting of both common core and job-specific knowledge sessions.
Participants will acquire critical knowledge about the specific features of NPPs, from design to operation: safety, project management, operation & maintenance, radiological protection, environment, procurement and systems, structures & components.
This program is structured in modules:
- The core modules act as a strong introduction to nuclear. They provide nuclear fundamental knowledge. The course lasts 7 weeks, with approximately 1 week of visits.
- The advanced modules bring the expertise necessary to perform specific tasks. They can be selected according to job specialty on a case-by-case basis.
A learning journey for managers: The journey will carry future managers across a wide range of topics. It will enhance their ability to acquire key nuclear capabilities for new build projects and NPP operation. The course has been designed to give insight into the EDF approach to nuclear management through visits of nuclear facilities, real-life case studies, and exchange with EDF managers.
- Core modules: participants should have a broad experience in industrial project development and be about to assume management positions in nuclear projects.
Advanced modules are designed for experienced engineers or managers.
